You don't think they would put it in the 2 door as well?

Depends on what they are doing overseas, but diesel hot hatches are becoming more common, i.e. Golf GTD and the previous Megane Sport

Even if it was made, I'd doubt it come to Australia as most 2 door drivers would want the full monty OPC.

as long as it it's in the 5 door - not fussed. I know people say 2 doors are fine with kids (Mr and Mrs H) but I can't justify one - which is why although I would also love a Megane RS I'll probably never have one any time soon.

    Called it.

"Slotting in below its VXR performance range is a new turbodiesel Astra, packing a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel four with 195 horsepower and a whopping 295 lb-ft of torque. The sequential twin-turbo oil-burner is the same as Vauxhall offers in the larger Insignia, but in the smaller hatchback, all that twist helps the Astra GTC BiTurbo run from 0 to 62 mph in 7.8 seconds en route to a 139 mph top speed"

Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
