Yep, sure is Pretty cool feature imo
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

Good find.
Is it an auto-opening tailgate? Those are some beastly struts
EDS-IPF Re-Map, 19" OPC Snowflakes, OPC Rear Spoiler, OPC Rear Diffuser, Remus Exhaust, Irmscher Front Spoiler, Irmscher Front Grille, Irmscher Eyebrows Signum Fog Surrounds and Lower Grille, K&N Apollo Intake, Koni Yellow Adjustable Dampers, Eibach Pro-Kit, DBA 5000 Gold Rotors, M-Tech Shifter
Nah, there is a touch button underneath that activates it. The tailgate is quite solid, hence the big struts.
A cool feature on the GTC is you tap the bottom of the Opel logo to open the boot

As Adam said, these are the MY12's, slight interior changes for the MY13's
Overall, i was really impressed with both of these cars. Alot of things from previous models that didn't quite work are now gone, things that did work are back, and then everything improved on.
Thanks for the pics boys. The yellow GTC has a Megane-ish look about it, but better I think. Good to see Opel have added another gauge - water temp I presume. I'll be interesting to see the pricing of the GTC, which will be a pointer to the cost of any VXR version.
It is a water temp gauge but probably like every other manufacturer these days - it won't actually show the "real" water temp like the old Astra's and Vectras did - it will just move to 90 as the car warms up and will just sit there - unless of course it does overheat - so it will just do what a warning light could have done.
