Another newbie!

Hi, I’m Dave, we have just moved over to Perth from the UK (been here 4 weeks) and already got bored so had to buy a project. Managed to get this GSi really cheap for reasons which are clear including a nice hole in the block…

Put some pics of the current car and also some of the others we have had incase anyone would be interested, if they need a separate thread elsewhere let me know.

Gonna start a full rebuild, just debating whether to get a new 1.6 or go down the 2.0 Turbo route as we have had 3 2.0 16v’s. But if we can get a 2.0 for reasonable money we may do one again





Also some of the old cars we have had

2.0 16v Corsa Sport. One we built in 12ish weeks and sold before we moved over here

We are in Waneroo, moved in with family as they have been here a while now and we thought we'd give it ago!

Also bought a Calibra so another 2.0 16v conversion is on the cards!
