website is actually confusing - it says that the Astra range is available with engine power ranging from 104 to 132kW - so does that mean the GTC 1.6 engine is also going to be available in the 5 door or the wagon as well?

Anyone with the info brochure can they have a look to see if they explain it better?

EDIT: Ignore me, just read the website properly again.

The wagon might be a good idea @poita - have missed the load carrying of the VW a few times this last year - a few times now I've had to make multiple trips between the shops when I could have only done one.

I would say the astra will be small, i would lean more towards the Insignia if I where you

And the brochure is a generic one, the letter with it says that not all models and accessories will be available in Australia!

Probably wouldn't be much smaller than the Volvo and am coping more than OK in terms of the kids. Most of the time we are in the CR-V when we are in the car all together.

And only reason the 2 doors would be a problem is because that would be the only thing my wife would insist on - she has a thing about 2 door cars and the kids being in the back.
