Bored at work so thought id make a thread to discuss what everybody thinks was the worst production performance car of all time. I mean cars that were publicly sold not cars made just for trackdays.
My vote is:
HSV XU6
Possibly one of the slowest, overpriced and poorly planned cars every to hit aussie markets IMO. A slow revving ecotec v6 add a supercharger to make it 'sporty' and a terrible auto 4speed that struggled.

The 'polarised' VL HDT Brocky - biggest embarassment ever !!! it still makes me shake my head and not that impressive in the performance stakes either...
Pity they just didn't follow on from the previous HDT VK Group A which was such an awesome machine in every way...

True, I didn't even want to mention that one as I can't believe they've actually done what they've done...
Not sure if they were ever a performance car, but I remember this car well and was actually a fan of it when seeing them on the road as a kid in the '70's - found out later how just how bad they were at falling apart LOL
