Makes me wonder why this gets the import instead of other models on offer and why when Opel is being opened up this year? My only guess is Opel won't bother with this model as its against their "premium" range offerings they might be looking at selling
how did you get holden badging as an opel from that?

Opel revealed the Mokka overnight, at the same time its US sister brand Buick unveiled the Encore model at the Detroit motor show. The pint-sized SUV is based on the same underpinnings as the Holden Barina as car brands look to cash in on the continued appetite for both small cars and SUVs.
But Holden will get in on the act as well with its US equivalent Chevrolet expected to debut its own version of the Barina-based soft-roader (featuring unique styling and built in South Korea) in the near future.

Expect the Holden to start around $25,000 with the Opel version demanding a premium when they arrive here in 2013.
from that article it sounds like Holden will be using their own or basing upon the chev's design and the Mokka wont arrive til Opel does

the cruze did not work well
I think I've only seen about 5 in my life

I'm pretty sure I've seen more epica's than cruze Ver.1
the epica/tosca was a good car, it just came at the wrong time (how could a transverse straight 6 fwd not work!) lol

I didnt mind the cruze soft roader tbh. We were actually looking at one a few years back, but decided against it because the budget wouldnt stretch at the time.

Also, we werent too keen on spending $18k (at the time) on a car that only had a 1.5L engine

Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
