    A very late hello

    Hi all, been around for a few months, and have been helped enormously by this site, so I thought I'd better introduce myself...

    I'm John, live south of Adelaide (Aberfoyle Park) and my daily drive for the last 6 years has been a bog standard (not counting the spoiler) silver 2001 Astra CD sedan.

    Although too old (and cranky) for low profile tyres, body kits etc, I really appreciate the troubleshooting help, and stand quite in awe of the collective knowledge that appears on this forum.
    (I still can't figure out how some of you (like guy and others) can find the time to learn so much hands-on stuff about these cars, and still contribute so much of their time answering questions from people like me.)

    Anyway, thanks for setting up a great site, and I will catch up with some of you SA guys sometime.

    For you Adelaideans, I have built up a collection of spare sensors, coils etc that you are welcome to come and try when you are troubleshooting your Z18XE
