Would you be able to make arrangements with the seller to meet half way? That way you cut it down to an hour and a half
Ok so iv got a bit of a problem... I'm looking to buy the astra van that was posted by guy. Fly to Sydney and drive it back. Only problem is that the van is 2-3 hours outside of Sydney. What would be the best/easiest way to get the car? Either me making my way to the car (dont know how I'd do this yet) or get the car transported on the back of a truck to Sydney? Then just drive it home... how could I get from Sydney to the car bearing in mind id be by myself with hand luggage. A taxi would cost an absolute fortune so what other ways is there?

That's a possibility especially since you're travelling from interstate.
Would only seem fair.
Maybe a NSW member would be kind enough to drive you down...

is it north or south of Sydney??
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
Not too sure adz. Guy said 2-3 hours outside but couldn't remember what it was called. Il wait for the owner to send me some more pics then negotiate with him

Why? Doesn't it only cover you for towing 100kms anyway?

why not take the train and then get the guy to meet you at the station?
are you flying into sydney?
if it's 2hrs north of newcastle, it might be equally as painful going from brisbane
