    Smile gday new starter

    have purchased for better or for worse ASTRA H MY09 2008 CDX wagon which at one point was a repairable write off which I knew. However it has nothing, no 'car pass' etc . have found an owners manual and purchased a haynes workshop manual. Need the CD30mp3 audio manual.

    UPDATE : on the 08 ASTRA CDX wagon:
    1. Got a new 'carpass' or more specifically a printout listing from Holdens DB, radio PIN, key config etc for $0 from Chullora spares , Suttons I think< must have been my smile ..
    2. took this to 'Joe' at a garage at Granville, dont laugh, a bloke my mechanic uses for reprogramming ASTRA CANBUS with TECH2 , charges $100 just to put the unit on to test for faults. Was a magician, problem was the CIM module (blinkers, wiper /washer etc) replaced it and cleared faults for $500. + fixed the audio system not lighting up...So fixed the non cancelling blinker, stabilty control system warning light on, Recommended.

    3. Anyone ever looked at the coolant temp via the 'settings' button display ? to check if thermostat is working ? appears mine slow to reach operating temp 81 deg on cold days.
