    GTS performance suspension kit

I just got my GTS suspension kit today from Germany:
    http://www.gts-sport.de/product_info...ia-nubira.html

It worked out about $500AUD posted which is an amazing price considering what it is...

and KYB shocks, modified to be stiffer and I think the front ones have been shortened as well

I'll post a review when they are fitted

yeah! for $500 posted, bloody ridiculous

if I bought just the KYBs here it would've been about that much
so it's like I got the H&Rs for free

So got it fitted yesterday along with nolathane control arm bushings, new tie-rod ends and lower ball joints, and new driveshaft seals... all up labour cost $450 incl. alignment

And then today replaced the shift linkage cos it was f-ed and wouldn't go into 2nd or 5th depending on how it felt

Took it for a quick drive today and the car is heaps better, corners flatter and is noticeably firmer but not bumpy or jarring

A quick measurement tells me it dropped 43mm (1.7") on the front and 33mm (1.3") on the rear so pretty much spot on for the advertised 40/30 drop
It might be more or less though because my initial measurement was with 17" wheels and my lowered measurement was on a little bit of a downwards slope...

It's hard to see the drop, probably cause it's not slammed or tucking rim
but I don't mind that at all, it is still practical and far from illegal.
The way it handles is far more important anyway...

    it's not hella anything... lol

Always best to have a nominal drop and no probs than slammed with heaps of probs, especially if it's daily driven well done Click here to enlarge
