    It's not that it means something different - but it appears to have totally different connotations in German. A 'kids version' product made by the company I work for was named in the pattern 'My First <X>'. The Germans objected to this, and decided to call their translation 'Junior <X>' instead. Sounds damn odd to us, and was a right royal PITA to implement, but apparently works for the German market...
