@sooty has the Z and he seems to like it. dont know anyone else with a Sony phone though lol. Ive never taken much interest in them since their x10 failure
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

I've got the Z...quite happy with.
The music (walkman) function is one of the better function I've seen on a phone.

Plus it's water proof...nothing like surfing the net or the NSFW thread while taken a shower.

I got an Xperia for 2 reasons. Battery life is great (though I do carry spare batteries when travelling cause can't always charge) and stuff like chargers etc. are affordable and readily available everywhere. I do loose lots of batteries and chargers which I accidentally leave in hotels, rental cars and on planes. Never had an issue with any of the Sony phones. The only minor issue I have is that they can't connect to a higher secured wifi network but otherwise I think they are great (and the price too)

Interested to see what this new nexus 10 device will be like. I think I'm going to buy it but I've said that for the Sony and Nexus 7 :/

I'm about to embark on rooting my galaxy tab (P1000) that I've got in my car so I can delete all the 'not-useful-in-car' apps like the reader and stuff. Hopefully make it a bit more streamlined.

Also, is there any music player you guys really like? Or just the stock one? Everything on the stock one feels a bit clunky is all, especially for car-use.

    Cheers

    M

I am too thinking about replacing my Toshiba Thrive/AT100 with something a little newer. With what, I'm not sure. Probably look at a 10" Galaxy Tab 3 or something.
