    change your gmail settings on the phone to IMAP instead of POP3, this should mark message read on the phone if you read them on the computer. I have laptop, desktop and s2 synced to an imap account with no extra notification issues

    I'm using the gmail app on the phone, not the internal phone mail. So is my wife. I'm assuming that uses IMAP.

    This is how I had to set up my Outlook in order to receive my Gmail messages through it.
    Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

    This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

    im waiting for the 32 gig although im kinda think wtf is the point now when i can just get a 32gig memory stick...I wonder too if itll give those awesome graphics like on the asus prime in riptide where the water splashes in your face.

    had a play in the shops yesterday....its quit nice and not as big as i thought...sits better in the hand than my s2.

    Shay, download riptide, and set graphics to full and let me know if the water splashes in your face.....want to see what these tegra's in the phones are capable of.
