    Well the report does state that it may be just pure speculation...

    I wonder if it would be better in the hands of the VAG group if that were to happen ??

    im partially serious about china being better but Click here to enlarge i mean yes VAG have a good "prestige" about them.... but i wouldnt go so far to say theyre worth the money they like to think their worth. Also the opel range is starting to look cool! If it goes to VAG the astra will just end up being a golf, boring to look at and spartan as all hell

    because only lately have skodas been any good.. vag had the arrogance as of such to think the badge would stop people buying skoda over vw but have now realised that skoda sales are damaging theyre signature/primary brand so what else to do but bring skoda back down

    That's a mad assumption to make. And I haven't seen any reporting to that affect.
    VW sales are up... Skoda sales are up. Win Win.

    Once again.... where's the evidence?
