They are? In what way? You get more for your money in an equivalent Skoda model.

VAG have owned Skoda for 20yrs and have been building the brand for that long. Why would they sabotage that?

I read an article about it a little while ago. It was from European motoring press so it may not be affecting aus skodas yet. I'll see if I can find it and post a link up.

That's a mad assumption to make. And I haven't seen any reporting to that affect.
VW sales are up... Skoda sales are up. Win Win.

    Once again.... where's the evidence?

Opels sales and market share are up, so why are GM "selling" it again?

Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

found some articles - they are over a year old though. I did read the same thing in a Greek motoring mag probably at the start of the year but I dont have that particular mag with me anymore.

Maybe VW decided not to follow through with the "decontenting" or it could still be in the pipeline.....

Because it's losing money (big time). It's not about how many widgets you sell but how much profit you make.

Because GM are dragging their heels with the global expansion program for it because they are scared the Opel vehicles will take away sales from their other companies.
