Which Sport Maxx? I had the GT's on before going to the RE002's and whilst that aren't as good, they were a pretty good tyre.

They are just the Sport MAXX which are the lowest, then the GT series is above it, some of the reviews aren't great and just spoke to a colleague, they're the standard tyre on the FG's, barely got 15,000km out of them.

Also found Advance Tyres in Richmond selling the RE002's for $200ea, that's not too bad, might get two of those!!!

Anyone got any feedback on the Goodyears/Dunlops, or have any other suggestions in a similar price bracket??
    Bargain!!

where you find these Steve and what size?

Just bear in mind the GSD3's haven't been made for a while, so check the manufacture date.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 and Dunlop SP Sport MAXX where near top performers for road tyres a few years ago circa 07.. a few tyres have overtook them these days.

As you know, I like the GSD3, excellent wet weather grip and quiet also, but overall I prefer the RE001s.

    For $149, I'd get them.

RE002s were only released late last year, so that's not going to be a problem.

I gave my sport maxx tyres back to the tyre place, wasn't happy with them. Instead I got them replaced, for free, for the new Eagle f1's and now having them for 2 months or so, I must say these perform extremely well.
