THIS is a hot hatch!!

Audi has built an all-wheel-drive hatchback that can keep pace with a Ferrari.
Audi's A1 Clubsport Quattro concept is a story best told using numbers.
Numbers such as: 0-100km/h - 3.7 seconds; 0-200km/h - 10.9 seconds; top speed - 250km/h (governed); and, most impressively, power outputs - 370kW/660Nm.
The one-off, hyperactive, high-performance hatchback has been unveiled at the annual Worthersee Tour meet in Austria.
The basic 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine has been borrowed from the RS3 Sportback, but this version has been heavily modified to produce V8-rivalling power and torque figures. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and sends power to all four wheels.
The sporty showcar sits low over a set of retro-look 19-inch "turbine" alloys with licorice-thin low profile tyres. Further modifications include a race-bred exhaust system that juts out from the car's body in front of the left rear wheel, a lightweight carbon fibre roof, an open-mouth grille, and an oversized front bumper with gaping air intakes.
The doors and panels on the A1 Clubsport have been widened, while the rear of the car gains a roof-top spoiler and a fattened rear bumper with a rally-style lower diffuser.
Inside, the A1 features a roll-bar for further body strength, racing seats constructed using carbon fibre, and a slathering of aluminium and carbon fibre reinforced plastic throughout the cockpit. The rear seat has also been removed to help save weight.
Audi has a history of making its concept cars a production reality, however a pint-sized car with such potent power figures isn't likely to join the German brands line-up anytime soon.
Instead, the A1 Clubsport Quattro concept is more likely to give a strong hint towards the styling of the as-yet unveiled S1 all-wheel-drive model. That model is touted to be fitted with a 2.0-litre VW-group turbocharged engine as seen in the Golf GTI.
The Worthersee tour event sees thousands of fans of the Volkswagen Group converge on the Austrian town of Reifnitz. The event starts today and runs to June 4.

Change those hideous wheels on it and id have it in an instant
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
i want one. im praying they make this a reality. even if the power figures are somewhat reduced. still looks like an awesome car. its supercar performance in a small car (Y)
you can live in a car but cant race a house
