Pay weLL over the top to begin with compared with here, £30grand sees some nice M3's with 20k miles and a good amount of options fitted plus the 12 months warranty, our plan is to purchase and keep for 12 months then trade in for a low mileage 1 M, we wont see alot of money lost in that time, If it was the nurb corsa, then a good wack will be gone especially how UK Vauxhall dealers give stupid discounts on the VXR range killing the used value massively......We couldn't even get a pound off the 1 M when we went in to order, no doubt you will see some getting the corsa for 18 grand compared with the 22 grand list price and being a Vauxhall its worth stuff all as soon as you drive off the forecourt lol

    used or new?

used 09, models can be picked up for under £40k

thing is, it isn't buying a GT-R thats a problem for many, its maintaining due to the over the top costs to service and replace parts lol

They actually drop immensely after the 1st year Kabel, (at least 25%) then to around between 50-60% of new car value after 3 years...I know that's still alot of coin, but geez what a rip when they're new it just goes to show the initial luxury and other taxes of around 30 or 35% added to this segment causes immediate high depreciation...

I know a few people who've had and currently own M3's (my boss for one) and he'll be relinquishing his once it hits 3yo for an update, should have no more than 30,000km and it'll 1/2 the price from when it was new, pity it's the 4 door sedan variant Click here to enlarge

Just looks wise, the Calibra is the hottest thing they've ever done to date IMHO Click here to enlarge

That might change if they do end up doing a twin top AJ OPC/VXR Click here to enlarge
