Rüsselsheim. The Corsa OPC is still increasing: available from mid-June "OPC Nürburgring Edition" based on the recently renewed Corsa combines power, performance and passion in high doses. From the new Corsa OPC version in the first year, about 500 units are planned. The price for this edition starts at 27 650, - €.
For the extra power reserves provide modified engine management systems and turbocharger, an exhaust system with reduced back pressure and the transition to 100-octane fuel. The performance of the 1.6-liter turbo engine OPC increases from 141 kW/192 hp to 154 kW/210 hp, the resulting flow rate from now 131.4 PS / l represents a peak in this class of its engine's maximum torque The basic version (230-266 Nm) increased to 250 to 280 Newton meters, the respective maximum value in the short time available on overboost is applied to the turbocharger.
To this dynamic potential, even at very high lateral acceleration, lane changing grip or side trips to the racetrack for effective implementation in advance, comes at the front axle, a mechanical slip differential is used.
Has also sharpened the chassis of the Corsa flagship model. The measures in this area include an even lower priced body, newly developed spring and damper units from Bilstein, and - as another high-tech gadgets - a new lightweight Brembo brake system of the specialists at the front with specially developed high-performance brake pads. The control algorithms of the chassis-side assistance systems, ABS, traction control TC and the electronic stability program ESP were specialists at the Opel Performance Center, the new configuration accordingly reconfigured.

There are also special Nurburgring embossed in the front seats and a steering wheel insert in Piano Black.
Superior performance - superior driving pleasure
The driving performance standard values indicate only how the Corsa OPC "Nürburgring Edition" feels. After 6.8 seconds to 100 km / h is reached, and the elasticity of benefits from the powerful torque curve: the intermediate sprint from 80 to 120 km / h in 5th Gang completed the compact sports in 6.2 seconds and is 230 km / h even in the very front top speed in its class.
The Corsa OPC "Nürburgring Edition" emphasizes once again the solidarity of Opel with the traditional circuit in the Eifel. His brilliance was the Corsa driving dynamic top model as well at testing and test drives at the maximum load on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the most demanding race track.
the world. Being worked out, the fun potential in no way limited to speed and handling precision, the sound is also included: the newly developed exhaust system was not only technically efficient but also acoustically tailored to the character of the vehicle.
As for the Corsa OPC "Nürburgring Edition" constitutes the core of his being, Opel brand ambassador and OPC performance driving trainer Joachim "Jockel" Winkelhock accurately with typically sly smile and homely colored diction to the point: "You fährscht, fährscht and fährscht - and magscht garnet mer get out. "Forced induction" sounds like some sort of sexual assault.
the wheels are not to my liking, to much like those found on the Suzuki Swift Sport
I wont be buying another corsa to swop you wheels lol not a chance .......... something a bit better built and reliable will be next, the missus now wants to replace her corsa vxr with a 08/09 E92 M3, now thats a much better investment of our money than over £22k for a corsa lol

*droooooooooooooooool*
i want one!!!!!!!
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
A very nice bit of kit. Lucky Poms. The donk would be a nice fit in any HSV Cruze.
Yep would make a great replacement for the company car.
But I also agree with Shane an M3 would be just as nice !
Very nice but its a hell of a lot for a corsa

Just as nice..................no comparison lol
We paid £15k for our corsa with 18's, metalic and climate almost 4 years ago, it now has 22k miles on the clock and not used often, I have just found our glove box lid falling off and we don't use it lol and the front bumper right hand side is held in by windscreen silicon as the top clip even after replacing wouldn't hold the bumper in place and kept popping out lol....I really wouldn't pay over £23 grand with a couple of options for that type of build quality, lucky we haven't had all the engine issues like others ; )
Still a fun little car but I wouldn't buy another.......
