    MacBook Pro - damaged!

This thing fell off my bed straight onto tiles and now the screen is all garbled - lines and black splotches Click here to enlarge

Any idea if this is worth repairing, if so how much? Otherwise I can get a brand new one for $1749 (RRP $2099)

Depending which one, the 15" ones are $300 on ebay + free postage.

Also depends how good you are with a screw driver

Like I said, depends how good you are with a screw driver.

I've pulled mine apart a few times, its not that difficult really.

The thing I've done before when I was too confident pulling something apart.

Takes photos of every step along the way, and make sure you label each screw as you go.

Also make sure the screen is genuine if you do decide to change it. My boss had this problem with his I_phone and on the second author got a genuine screen.....don't want to test that out with a screen when its worth $300 a pop. I say buy a new one with the intel core processor and fix the other and sell it Click here to enlarge
