Hello there fellow Opel owners.
My name is Chris and I'm from Adelaide. There are some on here who may know me as the former tech advisor over on the old holdenbarina.com forum. I've been rather inactive on forums since it's collapse, mostly due to other situations in my life, but I've kind of turned things around a bit since then.
Anyway, enough of my life story. My pride and joy is a 1994 Opel Corsa B GSi (unfortunately, it still wears some Holden badges.) and I have owned this beast for about two years now. Last I knew, it hit the rollers with a whopping 58kW at the wheels. I dare say since I swapped the intake to a X16XE lower half with a powerbox style top half, it makes a bit more than that. The motor itself I think is getting a little bit tired (it blows a bit of smoke out the exhaust when giving it the beans), so either a rebuild is on the cards or a Z18XE will find it's way in to the engine bay when the C16XE finally dies.

Well, I've got some plans to try and improve the handling next. I did have a OMP strut brace in the front that made a bit of a difference, but the powerbox manifold would've fouled on it, so it made way. Gotta look at getting another one made up.
Only problem is at the moment, I have a dead Hyundai iLoad (big end bearing failure) that I need to get repaired (as I work as a courier). Dealer quoted me $12k to fix, but found someone who'd fix it for $4k.

From what most people know, Bek & Carl lost all interest in it and wound it up. As someone formerly on the inside, the most I will say is that it goes down to a dispute and a somewhat complex issue concerning the forum owners, a former member of that forum and a Corsa B GSi.Welcome!
