after a very long day on the road (I'm talking a 12 hour day here), the 30 minute drive home up the highway can be dangerous, cruising along at normal speed. When you're just cruising along like that, fatigue sets in very fast. If I feel even slightly tired at the start of the drive home I try and sit behind another truck to keep my mind active. I'd have to agree that cruising along at the speed limit can get boring quite easily, you need to add something into the mix so you don't just switch off and go to autopilot...
