$700 Notebook

I've got an older business HP notebook and it seems much better made than today's ones..., however it was certainly much much more than $739..... that buys you quite a bit today, except for a 1080P screen.

Yeah when i compare the older HP's at work, they are just so much better than the plasticy new ones but then that may also have something to do with the price.

Lenovo used to be IBM but is now seperate or has some kind of affiliation still.

Actually I didn't buy it but got my brother to buy it.

I saw it last night.

The build quality of it seem poor compared to the Lenovo/IBM of yester year.

I suppose you that what you pay for.

Its their entry level notebooks. you'd see a significant quality improvement moving up to the ThinkPad range.

Is the Lenovo G560 i5 notebook still the best for value notebook around the $750 mark, as i may be in the market to buy one soon and my PC is starting to play up, fingers crossed it keeps on going.
