There's no quick simple answer to this one...

There's so much out there, so many different choices and types and set ups etc. etc...

I'd start by setting yourself a budget, both on hardware and installation costs if your getting it installed as well, then go looking around and find what appeals to you, these days you'll be able to get a very good system for not alot of money - very different story to just a few years ago Click here to enlarge

From memory most of us go for alpine.
Grab a adaptor from the uk to keep the wheel controls.
I'm still waiting for my adaptor but once it's in shall be sweet.
Check out the ICE section for the head unit selection

You will definitely get better sound changing the speakers, but not much. Changing the HU will make a bigger difference Click here to enlarge
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

Click on FAQ's, and the answer to the question, "What's the best system I can get for XXXX dollars?", and many, many more.

I had 3 cars done with them so far. No complaints.

    All the best with it!
