'Easily' probably isn't the most appropriate word... Definitely worth seeing if you can just pay extra and have it all done at the same time.. It should still work out cheaper than taking out the gearbox twice...

If I can fit it in costs I will... But pulling the box out isn't an issue when your cousin owns a Transmission Specialist... Click here to enlarge

Huh? Anyway, the above part number is the new part number for the box. There is an older one (probably the bearing change??) which points to the new one on Holden's system.

Just waiting for a couple of final details before I go ahead with everything!

    Thanks Rory.

Just got off the phone to parts departments.

The VXR uses different shafts to the SRiT. Different part numbers, so they are not compatible. since I can install the LSD in the SRiT box, the .11 FDR (in my opinion) is not justifiable for the expence that would be incurred on the drive shafts.

More on the above, The shafts may be the same even though the part numbers are different (I thought of this but am erring on the side of caution). Just confirming some details first. Once I have everything over here (If I take the chance) and everything fitted I'll confirm facts, until then I'm not willing to guess on anything.

Looks like around $5000 an up to an extra $1500 later on for flywheel, Slave Cyl and LEH Clutch Cover and sprung disc (up to $2000 if I go overkill with the Sachs Cover)

So the 7K rough estimate of Dave's is about right if he upgraded everything as far as possible!
