Was just a question... Dunno what the difference would be, but if it's only a few $$$ it aint worth the hassle...

I just would've thought that coming all the way from Scotland sorta defeated the purpose of group buying, as freight is usually the killer...

Local post will only be like $6 if u use pre-paid satchels as in my earlier post...

Whatever suits though mate, im not here to throw a spanner in the mix...

The purpose of the group buy is to get the device cheaper, not postage.

I'll speak to Steve and see what is cheaper.

Thought i should update this thread......

Due to the weather conditions out in the UK, Steves company has been heavily hit with alot of orders that cannot be sent out, couriers out there have pretty much come to a stop cause they can't send things with the snow.

So at the moment he is concentrating on getting his current sales out before he gets time to organise new sales (like for us) so this group buy will happen early in the new year.

last update i got from steve was that steve (UK) was snowed under with the weather and its pushed him back a bit in means of getting stuff posted out
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

Thanks for that, I might do that, just waiting on Holden to get a throttle body gasket in, hopefully that'll fix yesterdays problem.
