    Apple's Turnover

I averaged in over late 2001 and my buy price evens out to $9.258/share.

Certainly wasn't over $100 until the iPod came out and took off. Apple was a "niche company" and at best an under performer in 2001. A little luck and some fortuitous reading I got in at a good price.

I regret not buying Google shares 10yrs ago or Apples for that matter....however what confuses me, who the hell is going to buy their shares now at $300 a piece. High share prices are like a double-sided sword, good for your investors and bad for securing future investment.
You got romance. You got the boots. So, I just gotta ask. Can I get in your pants?

    Hedge funds..Long only funds...Super/Pension funds...Instutional Investors...High net worth individuals...

Ma and Pa Kettle investors would only buy a few here and there so they can say they have them and put their money somewhere seemingly safe...

a high share price doesnt mean its going to perform less than a share 1/10 th in value

people will buy a share no matter what the unit value if they like its fundamentals and think its a good buy

take berkshire hathaway for example. its currently trading at US$124,461 per share (not a typo, that really is one hundred and twenty four thousand dollars just for one share) and had you of held it for the last 12 months you would have made a tidy 25% profit on your initial investment
