A great program I have found that actually works, completely free
Malware Malybtes --> http://www.techspot.com/downloads/47...i-malware.html
It will take a while to run through but it's a great program
ps. im still not here
Just on my parents PC, opened up windows explorer and it came up with a virus warning, saying the computer has heaps of viruses and trojans and i should download some virus check to rectify it.
Instead, i used the Sophos anti virus and scanned the whole computer (took 5 hours), and only came up with one dodgy page which i deleted.
Now i'm assuming the virus warning thats coming on is actually the virus, so is there any way i can get rid of it??

thanks invisible god ghost man!!
also the warning i get has quite a few spelling/grammar mistakes...
what ive done now is gone through my control panel and accessed the genuine windows virus protection, downloading the safety scanner from their site which is what the dodgy page was trying to do in the first place....

dont worry about any of those
they may look legit, but can infact be a virus themselves.

reboot the pc, press f8 until you get the startup options. select safe mode with networking. download and run malwarebytes.
then restart the pc, and log into windows as per normal, and run malwarebytes again.
should sort it
