Marcos Ambrose voted greatest V8 supercar driver of all time

    http://paddocktalk.com/news/html/story-143832.html

sorry but personally i think this is the biggest joke ever, yes he had the greatest success in the shortest time, but drivers like Mark Skaife and Craig Lowndes have have alot more success and one of the greatest tests of a V8 supercar driver is to win Bathurst, something Ambrose never did........

Personally Skaifey would be my pick, followed closely by Lowndes!!!

And just to clarify, this is V8 supercars, so from 1997, hence why the names Brock and Johnson haven't been used!!

As much as i'm not really a Lowndes fan, to win the champioship in his first full time year should have put him above Ambrose.

he's sold out from australia to make bigger coin in the states so it makes him a better driver, what a load of shit

there's 10 guys in current V8SC that could still run rings around him every day of the week

This is a joke...Ambrose is a total flog who was up himself and was nowhere near being the best V8 driver. He certainly has not been missed since he left to race trucks with the red necks in the US. Fingers crossed he never comes back!

Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
