Astra 2002 ECU PLEASE!!

Yet another Astra is playing up for me.

The Throttle body was "playing up" as to the diagnostics, and someone said that it can damage the computer. Sure enough, I borrowed a throttle body from another car, and now the verdict is that the ECU is stuffed.

Can I borrow both throttle body and ECU from an identical car for testing?
Are the ECE's straight transferable - if I get a second hand?

Anyone have a spare ECU and Throttle body for me?

u'll b probably need to b more specific with regards to what variant astra - city, cd, sri etc etc.
i believe the ecu is coded accordingly.

to answer ur question - no, i don't have a spare ecu and/or throttle body!!

I do have an Astra 2002 1.8 L Equipe Sedan / Manual as well.
I already tested swapping over the throttle body, with no success.

QUESTION:
Can I testing the working ECU (from the Equipe) in the CD model without blowing that one as well?
