Snapped Bolt

You could always get a set out exyouts or however you spell it. Similar to what Ain said but you drill a hole about 1/2 way in then put the exyout bit in and turn till it grabs then keep going. It's a reverse thread.

The ones I used to use were when I worked in an engineering factory, cost about $600 for the set

how hard is it to take out the part the top hat bolts onto?
intake manifold im assuming?

Yeah, screws into the intake manifold but goes through the throttle body first.

Yeah its right it the middle of the throttle body, so not long enough for me to put a bolt onto it.

taking the tb off doesn't expose the thread?

yes it does. when you put the throttle body on you cant see the bolt. Didnt you get my text?

just get vice grips and twist it out

tried that but vise grips wont grip lol

get some good ones, and get em on tight so it puts teeth marks on the thread
else put a nut on it
and turn it to crack it open a bit

Ok just been back from the garage and found the gasket on the bottom of the throttle body have snapped off. Looks like wear and tear and not a clean snap. Its only rubber. Will they sell those on their own?
