    Snapped Bolt

While trying to tighten the tophat bolts one has snapped clean through the middle. Half of the bolt is still attatched to the manifold and it wont budge. Is there a way of getting it out? Any home remedies?

if there's any part still protudring out the top you can cut into it then use a screwdriver to turn it.
Short of that, a drill bit smaller than the screw, drill out the centre and you can essentially pull the remaining thread out once the core is gone.

I'll try the screwdriver thing. How will the remaining thread come out if the middle is pulled out?

once the core is drilled out, there's only a thin layer of metal left (essentially the thread plus a tiny bit more). It's weak enough to then peel/break out

my fav methods are a good set of vice grips
or drill a hole and hammer in a torx bit

top hat is held by 4 bolts?
u could probably get away with 3 for now

You could always get a set out exyouts or however you spell it. Similar to what Ain said but you drill a hole about 1/2 way in then put the exyout bit in and turn till it grabs then keep going. It's a reverse thread.
