ok so got the iPhone 3gs not that long ago, happy so far...
Anyhow found an app called 'gMeter' that is basically a accelerometer.
You can set it up to run 1/4 miles and timed 0-60 or 0-100, KW graph and so on.
It does this by using the onboard accelerometer in the iPhone.
it cost $11.99 and i havent got it as yet, because im unsure just how capable the iPhone is
Does any one the iPhone is upto it ? how accurate could it be ?
Ideas anyone?

A few of us have got dynolicious, a very similar app.
Overall you don't take the results as gospel, but they're not far off
