    Welcome to the site mate!

Guess it all depends on what your goal is as far as mods go. There are plenty of guys with quick Sri-T's on here. Don't forget it's not all about the power, how the car handles is going to be just as important.

    Welcome to OA

What are you want out of your car mainly? looks, preformance, handling, stereo?

just remember once you start modding its going to be hard to stop.

performance!!! do that first, before looks and stereo..

i just recently started modding my sri-t.. all ive done is cooler, exhaust, intake, tune, boost, and lowered it..

and the thing has become a total pocket rocket, and i didnt realise the potential of these cars until i actually did the mods.. even if u get 140kw, u wont be disappointed

rear anti sway bar is a good and relatively cheap place to start with handling!

+1, best mod for handling vs cost.

Some of that 3k should be put toward preventative maintenance.

And depending on k's, most would agree that a new turbo will end up being in that budget somewhere Click here to enlarge

Heres a list of what could be done...

    Buy a VXR turbo
    FMIC
    Turbo Back exhaust
    Tune

    Should see you around 150-160kwatw

    OR

Timing belt and water pump kit
    Rear sway bar
    Whiteline bushes and castor kit
    Quality springs and shocks

Some might go for the second group, some the first but i'd be inclined to do all Click here to enlarge

    remap - $400
    Fmic kit - $1200
    Exhaust 3" turbo back - $1200

total, $2800 Click here to enlarge.

if you want to add a lil to that for handling.
eibachs, should still be able to get them for $200-250
rear sway, cant member (contact gslrallysport on here) bout $200-300

then if you want to stop quicker, again contact gslrally.
hpx pads front n rear bout $80-100 a set, and your choice of stock, groved, groved and pitted gold passitated for between about $100-350.

i belive nadge is still doin the tunes down there, othwise let me know i can sort something out maybe.
and yes the fmic kit is mine, hehe Click here to enlarge.
