My 2004 Veccy CDXI V6 on LPG

    Hi Everyone

Bought the car 2nd hand with 60k on the clock. The 3.2 V6 CDXI is a nice car to drive. We converted it to LPG (injected emer system). The spare wheel was removed and the tank installed in the spare wheel well. The tank holds about 51 litres of gas and gets around 400-500 km's (city-highway).

The car runs great and is really cheap to run. $20 per 400km.

    Welcome to the site mate.

I tried getting mine Gassed but was told by numerous places that there wasn't a kit available. Might start looking into it again.

    We're in melbourne.

Yes I got told that alot by installers (no Kit), but we got a emer injection system (self tuning) put on by a place in Thomastown. We've had a few problems but now working good.
One problem was that the lpg would shutdown all the time. Found a partly broken/cut wire in the steering column that supplied the injectors.

If anyone wants the installer pm me and I'll give you the address and the name of the guy.

Mate had LPG drop out in his bombadore. Resulted in loss of steering at the most inconvenient time....

At least you've got it sorted now. Hope you enjoy the forum.
