sequential gearbox?
Does any one here know how to get that "chinking" sound when you change gears. Like at the start of Fast and the Furious.
If so where can I get it done?

sequential gearbox?
C20LET
yeah i do....
i just put a ring on my middle finger and it works for me...
Buy a sequential six speed Hollinger gearbox, retail for around $20,000, no hope of breaking it unless your running around 600+kw.
Straight Lines are only there to connect corners
hehe...*sits down and ponders when he will win lotto*
So you actually have to replace the gearbox just to get that sound as you change gears??? Well for that price I'll just imagine it every time I change gears then
I think that is what they call in the industry... a sound effect.
Maybe if I hook up a microphone to the inside of my gearbox, and really jam the gear in when changing..... ops:
That sound is The Gear Selector Beating the Synromesh in the Gearbox, I have it down Pat. Degen_Astra Knows all about me and my Gear changing Habits :screwy:
LOL yeah the only cheap way of gettin that sound affect is my wayOriginally Posted by Rhino

there's another way, rip out the leather boot of your gear stick and line the outside of the H with metal, assuming the gear lever is metal, away you go!
