badges...

hey i wanna remove my badges but i heard that if i take the lion off i will be left with holes that ill have to fill in and paint over...is this true?
and once you take the badges off can you put them back on or will they stuffed??

Dont know how they've dont it with the vectra, but with my barina, all my badges were stuck on.

Sorry, thought u had a vectra. Yeah the badges are stuck on Astra's. There is a HOW TO on how to take them off.

if u remove the lion badge at the back. there will be 2 holes left. coz those holes are used to guide the badge into position. u'd have to get a panel shop to cover them up and make'em look flush

the rear middle badge on the astra has lug holes for the badge to be secured, but the other rear badges are double-sided-taped on.
and the grill badge is secured with 4 clasps.
so if you want to take of all your rear badges you need to find a way to cover the lug holes.

On the topic of badges I ordered some from ebay - different sizes because I didn't know what to get. So now I have some spares - 2 opel flash badges and maybe a couple of others.
