what kind of mickey mouse operation to vic roads run down there, thats a huge breach of privacy.... you're telling me you can ring up vicroads with a vin and they will tell you the registered owner?

As said, worked for me a number of years back...but no of course you won't get full private info...

I didn't get the car owners name or address from them, but they did divulge the car was still registered and active and still located in the same Capital City/State...

As far as OPC's original question, that at least would let him know whether or not it's written off or still road registered and if it's still located in the same state at least
