Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

    Hi guys,
I'm a student and I can get Windows 7 for dirt cheap, just wondering if any of you techy blokes can check this out for me?
    http://www.microsoft.com/student/dis...g/default.aspx
I believe it looks like a 'downloadable upgrade' but when u sign up and get to check out, it adds another $14 for a "Disk Kit". Would this be the full version or just the upgrade? Im running xp 32bit at the moment

fair enough but is there any change to the core and memory clocks? if not, then there will hardly be any performance increase worth noting.
