    the Home Premium Family Pack is only available in the US afaik.

    its not even listed on our supplier listing here, unless anyone can confirm otherwise?

    I'm afraid you're right... I clicked on the get it now link from the Aussie Microsoft website and it sent me to the US store. Anyway, would be illegal to buy it from there and use it? I mean, $149 US at the current rate is a bargain, making it about A$55/license Click here to enlarge

    afaik it is yes, but read the t&c's of it all to make sure you can use it here

    you may have registration problems and also update/support problems

    Legally they, in theory, shouldn't be able to stop you. If they do then you could report them to the ACCC as its price fixing/anti-competitive behaviour and also breaches the terms of the FTA.

    Be careful though as when you install it may fall over when it figures out where you're based...

    found a cool little feature last night..

    when you leave your pc for a while it shut's down.. then you just turn it back on and it's already loaded, dont need to shut down anymore..

    never used vista on my pc, last os was xp, so this may not be new to you guys, but i reckon it's neat..

    yup, goes into hybrid sleep which is some weird moosh between what was XP's hibernate and standby. Id still reccomend shutting down properly every week or so else you start getting weird problems... its still windows after all Click here to enlarge
