Don't remember the factory power output, but I am pretty confident in suggesting that the latest everyday 4-pot would probably match it . . . or indeed better it and no doubt have better everyday figures for consumption, handling, comfort, features, etc.

    We've come a long way!

    105 was the stock figure
he got it to 125 or whatever it was

    Sorry . . . my mis-read. It's been a looooong day.

"Bosch dyno has already revealed 126kW and Lee believes 150kW at the flywheel is realistically attainable."
Old enough to know better . . . Too old to care!

I remember sitting in a computer lab at uni in the late 90s when i first saw this.... i thought it was 2FULLYSIK although the engine pic shows no supercharger... therefore I call BULLSHIT on the whole thing. i've come across too many wankers in my time who make false claims about their car for no other reason but to try and look impressive and i'll put this into the same basket until I see said supercharger/turbo or whatever.

that's seriously expensive - the list price for a loaded 2.0 Vectra CD was something like 32k.

Sorry but doubling the price for a body kit and 20-40 more kW just isn't worth it.

80s turbos are mad! they all had some sort of futuristic square fonted badge that said "TURBO" somewhere on the car. before I knew anything about cars I thought it must have some sort of button inside that you pressed to make the car go faster, just like the outrun computer game Click here to enlarge
