    Calibras...

After having a lil browse through the site I noticed the Calibra still seems rather popular here Click here to enlarge

I used to own one a few years back, it was a 1997 Calibra 2.5 V6 manual in Magnetic blue with black leather inside.

mate that color is SO nice, wish it came over here!
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

Yes the Calibra has its fans down here, unfortunately we weren't as lucky as you people in Europe in terms of getting all the goodies...

Like most Opels that came here, we never got the full colour range choice and on the V6 we never got the leather option Click here to enlarge

But the good thing was that on the turbo variant, we got a very neat Irmscher body kity fitted from factory which made Aust. Cali T's unique amongst those from the rest of the World...
