    The one due this month ($612) is for a car I've driven 3 times in last 4 years, and those times were all within the first month of owning it.
    Could you get some sort of club or restricted usage rego for that car?

    we're lucky in Vic that the rego is a standard fee regardless of what car you have.
    Not necessarily, im paying more for rego than what the car is worth, so works for some!!

    correct, known as a green slip.. essentially its insurance if you run some poor bastard over or hurt them when u smash into their car lol

    cant register your car without one.. standard price of around $450 for under 25s. cant remember the price for over 25s because i didnt have nsw reg when i turned 25 lol
    Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

    This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

    so does ur third party with ur rego cover peoples cars/property?? ours only cover medical damages.
