Holden are going to be selling limited edition Pontiac G8's in Australia at the end of the year. The move is designed to clear Pontiac parts left over from the Commodore export program since the G8 has been killed off. It is said to be offered in sedan, ute and wagon form. The ute and wagon are exclusive to Australia as they were never exported in mass production to the states as G8's.

Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

Thats alot extra for a different bonnet and bumper.Holden has already revealed its Pontiac plans to dealers, emphasising that the limited run of just 1500 are to be retailed at full price, rather than the discounts (some of up to $10,000) Australian buyers have become accustomed to on the Commodore and its Ford Falcon rival. Dealers have been told the Commodore G8 SSV will cost $1000 more than the equivalent Commodore SSV.
