LOL Forza is going to look and drive like a PlayStation 1 game after GT5 comes out. GT5 is taking so long to come out because the developers are utilizing the full capabilities of blu-ray (50GB disk)

nfs shift is going to be awesome. and u should all come and preorder from the store i work at so i can win a remote control car. i cant wait for this game tho. dashboard view looks awesome. i have always driven from bumper cam or those games that had dashboard views i would go from there. even the customising of the car affects the interior. as u strip it to lose some of those important kgs it strips panels and adds the rollcages in. ive got ps3 and have been waiting for a racing game that is worth while to play

I thought they just didn't know what they were doing at Sony

I thought they would hold out until xmas as some of the long awaited titles do to cash in on xmas sales.

what good is 50GB of disk space when all those pretty textures have to fit in to 0.25GB of video memory? Actual capacity of the disks rarely limits developers with what they can do..

For the record, going to have forza the day it comes out... will try a demo of shift though.

supposably 5000+ cars on GT5 is the reason to have 50gb of disk space including some opels!

That's a fair point, doesn't mean that it'll look or drive better then forza though . As long as forza 3 has an astra vxr I'll be happy.. (corsa vxr already confirmed!)

NFS died after most wanted imo and pro racing circuit to me will never be as fun as the whole illegal street race/ open world/ cop chases set up that NFSMW had. The idea of trying to make it feel like you're actually in the car is interesting but not enough to sell me since I always use the far chase cam anyway.
