    Lightbulb Reccomendations for exhaust

    Hi all,

    Thinking of gettin a catback for the astra, any reccomendations for increased performance but i dont want it to be overly loud. Cheers!

    two and a quarter inch from the cat to a sixteen inch chambered sports muffler with a tip of your choice. Probably cost about three hundred if that

    boo hiss, mettams are dodgy.
    sorry if you got yours done there, but they are really lazy and stingy, yet charge you top dollar. they do really poor quality welds. and im pretty sure they use mig.

    IMO go to grapnel carline, and yeah 2.25" a 12" resonator and as happy said, 16" straight through. id also just get mild steel, unless you can see extensive engine mods in the future, same with pressed bends, unless youve got big plans, just go with them, no need for mandrels

    i had a good job on my old ford but i got my exhaust custom built at another place but i wud have to say my old one on the astra was pritty shitty lol but now stainless from the turbo mandrel and nice Click here to enlarge

    Went to get my catback system priced by a proffesional and he said dont go 2 1/4 go 2 inch cause you'll lose power and that was for my astra ts 02 considerations really i dont wanna lose throttle response its low as it is =( B> turbo

    2 litre engines and under I would recommend 2 inch but for 4 cylinder engines above 2 litre I would use a 2¼ inch system. With a good 16 inch chambered sports muffler there will be plenty of back pressure.
