I'll be repeating the same thing I always say when this question comes up and ie. as long as it relates to you (which most seem to there) then that's a good thing as it'll be money 'better spent' as you'll be able to use those plates on any car for as long as you wish...

I'd have to say more so towards ASTRAY's suggestions, because that seems to relate more to the owner only and not the car, in a more obvious manner that is leaving out the Astra part of it

unlike my plates
but if i ever stop owning a astra, ill just hand the plates in. i only got them for the car, i dont fancy driving around and everyone knowing my name and/or age.
also i dont fancy paying $500 every year for the rest of my life.
so yeah it was more of a novelty thing.
just explaining the reason behind my choice in plates.
