im not sure what the rta's processes are... but from memory in vic i think u have to pay a ghastly application fee just for vicroads to investigate the matter, and if they decide that its not their fault, u dont get ur application fee back! (its something like that i think)
plus given the way the sydney roads are (victoria road and parramatta road are my favourites for a bumpy ride lol), i dont know how much luck u will have
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
i woudl have written to sydney council and rta...provide photos, the time, date and the cost of replacing your tyres and possible damage to your suspension.
its their duty of care to provide a safe road.
