Mine wasn't bled properly so had an air lock that caused it to overheat the coolant. Luckily the car never overheated and it appears the head is all still fine! Click here to enlarge

you should look at evens waterless coolant its a bit more $$$ but it never needs changing and does not boil until 180degrees and freezes at -40degrees
its what I am going to use in my car one cool vid on it is they run the car up to 100degrees and take the radiator cap off and nothing happens because no pressure,

Started work on the power window and mirror conversion. Got one half of it done with the driver's side door now having fast glass and an electric mirror. Still gotta put the trim back on too, but only after I have installed the splits.

Nice man, good luck with it.

I'm booking mine in to the get the rear electrics all done. Fronts were easy to DIY but the rears need a lot more electrical work which I'm sure I'll stuff up and break the car! Haha.

    Cheers

Got the other side done tonight. Fitted the woofer cones and crossovers for my Alpine splits and put door trims back on. All good so far.

Still need to sort the mirrors out (change the covers and replace the glass on the passenger side mirror) and install the tweeters, which as I've discovered will sit straight in where the original tweeters sat.

Ordered more parts for the beep beep. Spending more on parts for it than the car cost.
