I got you now. I should know, considering I had an engine destroyed because someone decided to cut an outlet off this pipe and use duct tape to try and seal it up.
Well, I'm due to change the oil in the iLoad now. Kinda CBF as the only flat surface I have to work on at the moment is occupied by an E30 on axle stands missing half its front end. Been driving it like I work as a courier too. I also allegedly still owe the "mechanics" a balance of $500, in which I may be refusing to hand over, seeing as it seems that they can't do up turbo hoses to save their lives. Three screw-type clamps have all popped off in the last week as they weren't done up tight enough.
Other news, got my new control arm bushes today for the E30, need to go back to my mate's to press them into the carriers (or lollipops as they're also called). Ordered new tie rod ends as the ones on the E36 rack aren't much chop either. And my package from Germany has just landed in Australia. Only been just over three weeks.

Haha, duct tape could've worked. For a little while. Have fun changing it over. I'd probably take the intake manifold out and get to it that way. Another thing that'll make the job a lot easier to get a tool to remove those evil spring clamps. I got one for around $25 from Total Tools a while back and it's resulted in less swearing than trying with standard pliers or vise grips. Someone mentioned a remote/cable version of the same tool, but that's about $50-60 worth.

Got my angel eye headlights tonight. Funny how Parcel Post delivered them at 8.15pm, especially when with Messenger Post, we're supposed to stop deliveries at 8pm at the latest. Also received new tie rod ends for the E30 today, which need to go on ASAP so I can move it out of the carport.
Here's a good example of how dealers overcharge in this country. I need to get a new discharge/low pressure AC hose for the iLoad (compressor to condenser), AC gas guy said I could get someone to come out and put a fitting in the hose to repair it for anywhere between $100 to $400. Went to Stillwell Parts (part of Adtrans, Adelaide's other Hyundai dealer), was quoted around $300-320 for a brand new hose and they'd have to get it from Sydney. The guy at the stealers then said I could get it at $250 trade price. I said I'd think about it, he gave me a diagram of the hose along with the part number and I left. First thing I did afterwards, was google the part number. Found a mob in the US who can supply the hose for $53.17USD + $29.76USD postage (via Fedex or EMS apparently). Either way I look at it, I'm obviously in front by ordering it off the net.
